The Tung Chung New Town Extension (East) Volunteer Team “Builder” collaborated with the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) and Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui (SKH) Tung Chung Integrated Services (Ying Tung), to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with Tung Chung residents. The HKIE and " Builder " prepared mooncakes, fruits, and lanterns to present to the elderly in Ying Tung Estate, conveying love and care to the community.

"Builder" handcrafted and designed dozens of lanterns, each adorned with riddle tags, for riddle guessing with the residents, thus enhancing the traditional festive atmosphere. After the activities, participants could receive festive gifts. Everyone had a wonderful time.

In addition, volunteers from SKH and "Builder" visited 20 elderly households in Ying Tung Estate, engaging in friendly conversations and showing care for their daily living. It was aimed to convery warmth to the elderly and celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival together.
